Mr. Mark Huff will be joining the Cornerstone Christian School Faculty for the 2022-2023 school year.  Mr. Huff has been married 35 years to his high school sweetheart, Bobbie.  He has two children, Tyler Huff (wife Emily) and Alli Moore (husband Jacob Moore), as well as two grandchildren, Harlyn and Elijah.  Mr. Huff has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Georgetown College, a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Special Education from University of the Cumberlands, and a Master of Arts in Education (MAED) in Educational Leadership and Principalship from University of the Cumberlands.
 

Collectively, Mr. Huff has 18 years of experience in education, serving the last eight years as a high school Assistant Principal.  He is also an adjunct professor in the School of Education at University of the Cumberlands, and he and Bobbie have pastored River of Life Fellowship for 20 years.  Mr. Huff is honored and excited to begin this new chapter at Cornerstone Christian School.  Mr. Huff will work alongside retiring principal Mr. Joe Allen for the 2022-2023 school year.  He hopes to continue the school's spirit of excellence by serving the wonderful faculty, staff, parents, and children of Cornerstone Christian School.

Mrs. Cheryl Winters is a familiar face as she has been a part of the Cornerstone family for fourteen years.  She has served in several different capacities and looks forward to using her experiences in the new combined role of Enrichment/Intervention Teacher and Assistant Principal. In this role Mrs. Winters will work directly with students as well as perform administrative duties related to curriculum and accreditation.  It is her passion to be in a ministry that teaches young people to walk with Jesus.

 

Outside of school, Cheryl enjoys time with her husband Eric and her children, Isaac and Benjamin.  She is grateful for the Bible-based curriculum, and the positive Christian influence teachers at Cornerstone had on her boys. She desires to see that influence carried on for many generations to come.

Mrs. Holly has 4 years of experience teaching at CCS in various positions.  She is excited to be back in the classroom for the 2022-2023 school year as the 2nd Grade Teacher.  Mrs. Bryant has a master’s degree in elementary education. She lives in London, Kentuckywith her husband Terry, and sons, Sam and Bobby.  She is looking forward to seeing the great plans God has for Cornerstone. 

Mrs. Deborah L. Campbell will be the Middle/High School Language Arts Teacher beginning August 2022.  Mrs. Campbell has a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education (Math and English), Master of Arts: Teacher Leader and a Juris Doctorate law degree. She loves watching students’ minds come to life with her combination teaching model using lecture in connection with debates, discussions and activities to ignite imagination and desire to learn in her students. She brings with her more than 5 years of experience educating middle/high school students in both English/Language Arts and Mathematics.

Mrs. Campbell lives with her family in Lily, KY and she is the financial secretary and a member at New Manna Church in Corbin, KY.

Ms. Patty Howell will be joining the CCS Faculty as the 4th Grade Teacher in August of 2022.  Ms. Howell holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Religion from the University of the Cumberlands.  She has 10 years of experience teaching at Gateway Christian School and she has worked as an out-patient counselor in both secular and Christian counseling fields.  In her spare time, she enjoys writing Bible studies and visiting her children and grandson.  Her favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6.

Mr. Jack Caudill will be joining Cornerstone as School Security Officer for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.  Mr. Caudill was born in Prestonsburg, KY and moved to Illinois when 3 years old.  He served 27 years in law enforcement in the Chicagoland area working patrol division, gang unit, nacrcotics, detective, warrants and community policing.  Mr. Caudill retired and moved to London, KY.  He was hired in 2013 at the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department and has served as Supervisor Sergeant for court security until this spring.  In his new role Mr. Caudill will be on campus monitoring the safety and security of CCS students, faculty and visitors.  Mr. Caudill will also assist with safety/security training for CCS faculty and implementing safety policies and procedures.

Mr. Caudill is married to his wife Jennifer and has a daughter who is a nurse in Illinois, and a son who is a teacher at North Laurel Middle School.

Mrs. Mallory Turner joins us as our new PE teacher.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Literacy Specialist, and has 6 years of teaching experience.  She has been a stay at home Mom for the past 4 years and has been very active in youth basketball and softball and is excited to pass on her knowledge and skills to the students at Cornerstone.  Mrs. Turner currently resides in London with her husband Brandon and 4 children.  In her spare time, she enjoys fishing and camping with her family.  She is a member of Hightop Baptist Church and her favorite scripture is Isaiah 41:10.
Maddie Moore is our new After School Teacher.  She lives with her husband and three children in London, KY.  She is excited to join the Cornerstone family and see what the future holds.
